Undergraduate Advising

For advising related to the statistics or actuarial science major or minor, contact our department office at 815-753-6714 to set up an appointment with our undergraduate advisor during scheduled advising hours.

For advising related to general education and other degree requirements, contact the advising office of your major college. For statistics and actuarial science majors, this will be the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ advising office.

For questions related to individual statistics or actuarial science courses, contact our department office at 815-753-6714 for further direction.

When to Seek Advising

• Advising for upcoming summer and fall semesters should be completed by April.
• Advising for upcoming spring semesters should be completed by November.

Please keep in mind that advising hours fill up quickly as the beginning of the upcoming term’s enrollment period approaches. Make your appointment early to avoid the rush.
