Clinical Assistant Professor

We are inviting applications for a full-time, nine-month, promotable clinical-track faculty member at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Nursing program.

We’re seeking a faculty member who focuses on clinical advanced practice nursing and will enhance and diversify the expertise within our School of Nursing. The nursing program is part of the College of Health and Human Sciences where collaboration among faculty will provide opportunities for research and interdisciplinary cooperation in a shared clinical space with other healthcare professionals.

NIU is preparing to strengthen the current nursing program by expanding the faculty team and fostering clinical experiences for our undergraduate and graduate nursing students. The preferred candidate is ready to guide the upcoming cohort of clinical nurses and actively contribute to advancing the nursing profession through a commitment to excellence and innovative practices.
