Psychological evaluations are available to address questions about: possible learning disabilities, problems maintaining attention/focus, emotional difficulties (e.g. depression, anxiety), relationship problems, and anger management issues.

Fees

Assessments for NIU students are typically a flat rate of $250.00. Fees for non-NIU college students are typically $350.00. Concerns regarding payment can be discussed with the PSC director. We do not turn away clients due to difficulty with finances.

Fees for clients who are not students are based on a sliding scale which takes into account number of family members and total family income. Fees also depend on the number of assessment techniques required and the complexity of the case. Your clinician will review an assessment plan tailored to your specific needs.
