Rhonda Arends is a change agent. It is her mission to help organizations build effective Boards (and effective teams) by maximizing the potential of individuals. As a trainer, speaker and consultant she has conceptualized, written and taught numerous seminars and program series customized to the needs of each of her client organizations. Topics include: Effective Governance, Meeting Facilitation, Leadership Skills, Team Building, Customer Service, and numerous Personal Development Seminars.

Rhonda also specializes in one-on-one consulting with top leaders in organizations. In that capacity she observes all levels of employee interaction and helps management forge strong cohesive teams through coaching and counseling. Many companies use her skills and insight year after year to build and then reinforce the concepts she has instilled.

She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Michigan which provides the perfect background for her specialties in employee involvement, culture shift, leadership, interpersonal relationships, and communication. Her strength is in analyzing personal and interpersonal dynamics and guiding people to new levels of effectiveness. Class participants thoroughly enjoy Rhonda’s seminars and frequently comment that “Everyone in this organization should take this class”.

Rhonda has been involved with the NICNE Nonprofit Board Training classes since their inception. As a co-author of the Effective Governance module, she has trained hundreds of participants to be more effective Board Members. She has extensive Board experience, especially in the field of education.
