Kim Schweitzer, CFRE

Kim has served successfully in many development capacities for 35 years before her retirement in 2015. For more than 20 years, she served as staff for Rockford Memorial Development Office, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Arthritis Foundation, YWCA of Northwest Illinois, Rockford Christian Schools, and RAMP. In 1992, after receiving her certification through the National Society of Fundraising Executives, she began her consulting firm, a.k.a. Re$ources. For the next 15 years, she assisted many nonprofits and setting and successfully achieving annual fund, capital, and endowment campaign goals to carry out their missions. Her most rewarding jobs and contracts are when she is directly interacting with donors, using her skills to start a development program, or reaching out to the community to guide organizations to attain their development goals.

Kim lives in the Rockford area with her husband with whom she has raised her two sons. They currently have eight grandchildren. She and her husband are avid sailors of the Great Lakes.
