Overview of Scholarly Activity

Colin Kuehl (Ph.D. University of California, Santa Barbara) is a jointly appointed assistant professor in the Department of Political Science and the Institute for the Study of the Environment, Sustainability and Energy. His research and teaching interests are at the intersection of international relations and environmental politics. His book project examines the importance of regional neighbors on the likelihood that states will engage in global environmental cooperation. Additional work examines the social determinants of pro-environmental behavior, like water conservation, and sustainability literacy. He is also interested in political science pedagogy. Colin teaches courses on environmental policy, international relations, international political economy and research methods.
