Educator Licensure, Secondary Science

Our licensure programs prepare students to teach high school science. As they complete a program, students work alongside a set group of fellow students. This cohort approach gives them a built-in support network. They also receive guidance from advisors and our dedicated science licensure coordinator.

We emphasize inquiry-based learning, collaboration, and creative and critical thinking in the classroom. We also emphasize meaningful interactions with students that impact their knowledge and achievement. When they finish their studies, our students are ready to become effective classroom professionals.

Our programs are accredited and recognized by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Programs (CAEP) and the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).
