Committees and Commission Representation

University Committees:

Appointed by the OSC from candidates submitting interest forms

  • Campus Security and Environmental Quality Committee (one representative for a two-year term)
  • Computing Facilities Advisory Committee (one representative for a three year term)
  • Libraries Advisory Committee (one representative for a three year term)
  • Parking Appeals Committee (one representative for a three-year term, one representative for a tow-year term)
  • Student Conduct Board (one representative for a three-year term)
  • University Council (one ex-officio member and one alternate for a one-year term)

Presidential Commissions:

Selected by the University President from those nominated by the OSC

  • Presidential Commission on Persons with Disabilities - (No set number of positions, 3-year term)
  • Presidential Commission on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity - (3-year term)
  • Presidential Commission on the Status of Minorities - (4 positions, 3 year terms)
  • Presidential Commission on the Status of Women - (No set number of positions, 3-year term)

Operating Staff Council Committees:

Any operating staff employees are welcome to submit interest forms for the OSC committees:

  • Personnel/Staff Development/Benefits Committee
  • Public Relations/Activities Committee
  • Elections/Appointments Committee
  • StaffFest Committee
