Teacher Licensure Program
The Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures prepares students to become licensed teachers in French, German or Spanish (K-12). Students pursuing certification must have a strong academic record and demonstrate the desire and ability to facilitate learning. Students will follow a carefully constructed and monitored course of study, which has been designed to meet the standards of the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
