NIU Foundation Award: A limited amount of funds are available to subsidize graduate students who are conducting fieldwork for the MA degree in Anthropology. These funds can be used for travel to the field site, fees associated with consulting collections, and other research costs. Here is link to the application. They are due Feb 15th.
UNDERGRADUATES
Gayle Dubowski Fellowship: The $500 fellowship is available to any NIU undergraduate Anthropology major to use to participate in anthropological research. This research can include participation in an NIU sponsored field school, another archaeology or ethnographic field school, or to undertake other academic research or study abroad. The funding is provided as reimbursement after the money has been spent, so the student must save and submit receipts. Here is a link to the application. They are due Feb 15th.
