About the Program

Are you interested in educational assessment, evaluation and research? Do you want to complete a Master of Science degree in a completely online format, on your own schedule? If so, this program is for you. You'll learn to plan educational evaluations, interpret qualitative and statistical data analytic procedures, and ultimately relate the findings to educational and social science policy. This program is designed to advance your knowledge, both theory and practice, of assessment, evaluation and research.

Curriculum

Advanced Quantitative Methods Area of Study

This area of study prepares you for a career as a data analyst and statistician in educational, business and professional settings, as well as in governmental agencies.

Assessment Area of Study

The assessment area of study furthers your knowledge of the theory and practice of assessment. This specialization also provides opportunities for teacher professional development.

Program Evaluation Area of Study

This area of study prepares you for a career as an evaluator for school districts, business and professional organizations, culturally based institutions, and military and government agencies.
