Professional Background

Victoria is a third-year law student at NIU College of Law. Within the College of Law, Victoria is involved with the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity, the Women’s Law Caucus, the Latino Law Students Association, and the Professionalism and Ethics Society where she serves as various leadership positions. Victoria is currently a 711-licensed law student and works for the Foreclosure Mediation Clinic in Kane County. Victoria’s prior work experience includes working as the Legal Research Intern for the Office of General Counsel during her second year of law school before transitioning to a Collections Law Clerk position this year. Additionally, Victoria previously worked as a Government Affairs Intern for the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce where she served as a junior member on multiple city government committees and monitored targeted legislation at the local, State, and Federal level to keep Chamber members informed and involved.
