Professional Background
Prior to coming to NIU, Carrie was a paralegal in private practice and contributed to state, federal and local court actions. She also conducted and documented evidentiary hearings, investigations and trial preparations related to municipal and state official representation, including arbitration and mediation proceedings. Carrie was also liaison with several different legal offices, including the Illinois Attorney General's Office and the City of Chicago Corporation Counsel's Office.
