Voice Amplifiers available through Classroom Media Technologies.

Some NIU faculty and instructors have expressed concern about projecting their voices through a face mask and over background noise in the classroom, particularly in rooms that do not have microphone systems in place. Based on some initial testing, faculty have found personal portable voice amplifiers helpful in improving the sound level of their voices. Classroom Media Technologies is ordering additional voice amplifiers for distribution upon request to anyone teaching in-person in a classroom this fall.  To anticipate demand, we ask that you complete this short form if you are interested in a personal voice amplification device for in-person classroom teaching this fall.

Instructions on where to pick up the devices will be provided once the devices arrive.
