Student Immunization Compliance Process Update

The Division of Student Affairs is now using Med+Proctor to help verify students’ immunization documentation. Students can now submit their documentation directly to Med+Proctor, and Med+Proctor will follow up with them regarding any missing information. Starting June 1, 2026, students who are missing documentation will see a to-do list item within MyNIU indicating that they haven’t yet completed this task. Reminder emails will also be sent starting June 1.

As this is a new system, questions, concerns and challenges may arise. Please email immunizationrecords@niu.edu with any questions, and feel free to direct any students you work with who may have questions to do the same. As a reminder, students taking six or more credit hours of on-campus classes are required to provide immunization documentation. For more information about immunization requirements and instructions for students on to use Med+Proctor, please visit the Health Services website.
