Updates for Community College Partners
Greetings,
Happy New Year! The beginning of a new year always brings a renewed sense of possibility, and January invites us to pause, reset and look ahead with fresh perspective. We value your partnership, and we appreciate the opportunity to tell you more about what we have to offer your students.
This month, we reflect on moments that challenge us to learn, serve and grow through campus observances such as MLK Day, International Holocaust Remembrance Day and World Braille Day. World Braille Day also gives us the opportunity to highlight NIU’s nationally recognized special education program for teachers of the visually impaired — one of a very few accredited programs of its kind in the country.
The new year also brings new opportunities for involvement and updates to share regarding spring visit opportunities and events. It’s also an important month in our efforts to enroll in next fall’s class.
As we launch into January — with classes resuming Jan. 12 — we’re energized for a successful second semester and beyond. We're pleased your students may be
