Photon Machines Analyte G2
The department maintains a Photo Machines analyte 193 nm G2 eximer laser ablation system that can be coupled with the Element 2 ICP-MS, or with the Mat 253 mass spectrometer. The laser has a focusing spot size that ranges from 2 to 250 microns, and includes a Helix two-volume sample cell that allows for the efficient transport of sample into the mass spectrometer of choice. This cell minimizes washout times and enables sequential, rapid, reliable analysis of multiple ablation sites.
