4 Star Status for Child Development Lab

The School of Family, Consumer & Nutrition Sciences Child Development Laboratory has recently obtained 4 Star status in the State of Illinois Quality Rating System. This is the highest rating given by the State of Illinois, Department of Children and Family Services and is reserved for child care centers that have met and exceeded a very rigorous review of all dimensions of center operations. There are only 5 children's facilities in the State of Illinois rated with this status and the City of DeKalb now has two.
