The Avance DPX 200 instrument is usually equipped with a 5 mm broadband probe, which can be tuned from 97Mo to 31P. A 10 mm BBO (tunable from 109Ag to 31P) is available upon request.
The 200 MHz instrument is equipped with a variable temperature controller using a liquid nitrogen evaporator for low temperatures.
Variable temperature experiments can be run, taking probe limitations into account. The sample temperature range for BBO probes from -120 oC to + 150 oC is not be exceeded. For experiments exceeding the temperature limits of plastic spinners (-50 oC to + 50 oC), ceramic spinners must be used.
