NMR Facility

The Departmental Analytical Lab houses two NMR spectrometers, a Bruker Avance III 300 and a Bruker Avance III 500.

• The 300MHz instrument is equipped with a 5 mm BBFO probe with z-gradient and an autosampler.
• The 500MHz instrument is usually configured with a 5 mm BBFO Z-gradient probe, but can also be equipped with a 5 mmTXI X,Y,Z-gradient probe or a 10 mm BBO probe for larger sample volumes.
• Both instruments are equipped with temperature controls and can be heated as well as cooled.
