Mass Spectrometry

The Departmental Analytical Lab houses two mass spectrometers, a Thermo LCQ Advantage LC-MS and a Bruker OmniFLEX MALDI-TOFMS.

• The Thermo LCQ Advantage LC-MS is an LC-MSn instrument that can be used with electrospray ionization (ESI) or atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI) sources.
• The AB Voyager-DE BioSpectrometry Workstation is a benchtop system used for analysis of large molecules.
