Upcoming Student Body Elections March 23, 2021
Fellow Huskies,
Getting involved beyond the classroom is critical to your college experience. Not only do you connect with other students, but involvement leads to developing leadership and other applicable real-world skills needed for life after college. One of the ways to make the most of your time at NIU, is to become a critical leader by joining the Student Government Association (SGA) and participating in the events they offer for the student body.
SGA members serve as the voice of the student body to the administration here at NIU. This year, we have worked to create better representation across campus, to make funding more accessible for student organizations, and to share student feedback surrounding the pandemic with decision-makers at NIU. Next year’s leaders will continue to make decisions that affect your college experience. It is important to use your voice and vote for your SGA representatives on March 30 and 31 via HuskieLink.
