Christopher Nelson
Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs, Comcast

Christopher Nelson serves at Comcast as manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs for the Greater Chicago Region. Having been with the company since 2003, Christopher coordinates relations between Comcast and communities in the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago, in addition to a multitude of legislative districts. Christopher’s duties have also included a number of notable projects, including participating in the merger of Comcast and NBC Universal in 2011.

Prior to coming to Comcast, Chris worked as an administrator in local government for a decade, specifically in the communities of Sycamore, Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates. A member of the Illinois Association of Municipal Managers and Assistants (IAMMA) and liaison to Illinois City Manager's Association (ILCMA), Chris remains active in municipal management circles, deepening Comcast's relations with its civic partners.

Christopher is also a board member of the Dundee Township Boys and Girls Club and the Northern Illinois University Alumni Association.

A native of the Chicago area, Christopher received both his Bachelor of Arts degree and master's degree in Municipal Management from Northern Illinois University.
