Purpose
The purpose of this module is to give a brief overview of basic EMS concepts to teachers, especially those who teach in junior high and high schools, and help them integrate EMS in their courses and curricular to promote environmental literacy, skills development, and good decision-making. The module is not intended for advocacy or to promote any particular point of view.
The module is intended for self-paced learning and may take anywhere between three to five hours to go through the content and the activities fully, depending on one’s background, web navigation skills, and the type of access to the web. The module can be integrated as part of an existing course that deals with environmental issues or assigned as part of a course activity.
