NATIONAL TRANSFER STUDENT WEEK - OCT. 19-24
Credit Where Credit's Due: Celebrating National Transfer Student Week
National Transfer Student Week celebrates the many paths students take to NIU and the experiences, perspectives and strengths transfer students bring to our campus community.
Faculty and staff play an important role in helping transfer students feel recognized and valued. We invite you to help make transfer student pride visible throughout the week by sharing National Transfer Student Week events with students, talking about your own transfer or community college experience, wearing apparel representing where your educational journey began, or simply taking a moment to acknowledge the transfer students you work with each day.
We encourage you to stop by the Transfer Student Takeover at Food Truck Wednesday on Oct. 21 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in MLK Commons. Connect with transfer students and colleagues, celebrate the many pathways that lead students to NIU, and help us foster a culture that recognizes and values every student's educational journey.
Together, we can celebrate transfer student pride and the many paths that make our Huskie community stronger. 🐾
