Advising

Advising

All students majoring in foreign languages are strongly encouraged to see their academic advisor at least once per semester to plan their class schedules and monitor their progress toward graduation.

Incoming freshmen who have previously studied the target language are expected to take a placement exam in the target language.  Information regarding the testing procedure and upcoming test dates can be found here. Any questions regarding the placement exam should be directed to the appropriate language advisor.
