Online Report Access Procedures

The reports accessable from this page contain PeopleSoft nVison reports whch are accessible using Excel 2000 or Excel 2003 or are reports in the form of PDF files which require Adobe Acrobat 7.0 or higher to be viewed.  Note that Excel based financial reports have not been tested on Excel 2007.  Some adjustments and minor page tuning for your particular workstation and printer(s) maybe neccessary to properly view and print the reports from Excel. Your browse type (i.e., Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox), browser version, browser configuration, video resolution, will affect the quality of data presentation.

Secure Access - Access to report directories is based on access approved by your College's/Department's business manager. To access a secure report directory, click on the departmen/college/division organization prefix in the right hand column. At the prompt, enter your NIU login id prefixed with "NIUNT\" and your NIUNT password.

All users should have both a Novell and a Windows NIUNT password that are synchronized by ITS.  If you have access problems, it may be necessary for you to visit the ITS AccountID and Password WEB page at http://www.its.niu.edu/its/accounts/index.shtml and change you password according to ITS password specifications to force a password synchronization and to insure that the password conforms to ITS guidelines.  Users may contact 753-8100 for assistance regarding their login ID and password.

Note also that the nature of the login dialog box and the text displayed is browser and browser version dependent.
