Danielle Pivonka

Piano, Violin - Apprentice 2

Danielle Pivonka began playing piano when she was 6 years old and violin when she was 9 years old. Since then, she has completed hours of private lessons on each instrument.

On piano, she has competed and won in competitions, accompanied students for Solo and Ensemble performances and Senior Recitals, and has taught lessons for a few years. She also has been playing piano and leading worship for Sycamore United Methodist Church for the last few years.

On violin, Danielle has performed in countless orchestras and attended music camps across the country such as Illinois Summer Youth Music (ISYM) at University of Illinois, Birch Creek Symphony in Door County, Wisconsin, and Lyceum Music Festival in Midway, Utah. In middle school she played violin in the CSA Symphonette and transitioned to the CSA Sinfonia once she entered high school. Danielle has been teaching lessons on violin for the last few years and has thoroughly enjoyed it. She recently studied with violinist Renee-Paule Gauthier at North Park University and is currently studying with violinist Mathias Tacke at Northern Illinois University.

Danielle truly enjoys teaching lessons and helping students who are excited to learn and grow as musicians!
