Professor Emeritus Bruce Rocheleau has just authored a book titled Wildlife Politics published by Cambridge University Press. The book concerns controversies over endangered species and other wildlife issues on a worldwide basis covering more than 60 countries and 45 species. Congratulations to MPA graduate Evan Walter, recipient of the 2016 Pi Alpha Alpha Master’s Student Manuscript of the Year Award! Evan Walter was selected to receive the 2016 Pi Alpha Alpha Master’s Student Manuscript of the Year Award by NASPAA for his capstone paper, Managers as Conduits for Risk Assessment in Local Government. Evan will receive his award at the Pi Alpha Alpha Award’s Luncheon, Friday, Oct. 21 in Columbus, Ohio. He is a May 2016 graduate of the MPA program currently employed as a management analyst in the public works department at the City of Elgin, IL.
