Talks
The Psychology Department maintains an active intellectual life. Each year the Psychology Department hosts a colloquium series. In addition, faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates participate in a variety of brownbag seminars and research meetings.
Psychology Colloquia
Colloquia are typically held during the Spring semester. A schedule of this year's colloquia will be posted here as soon as it is available.
Brownbags and Research Meetings
Faculty and students meet regularly in brownbag seminars and research meetings to discuss current theory and research. For schedules and additional information, please see below:
- Child Interest Group Brownbag: The child interest group meets to discuss research, theory, and issues concerning children and families. For a schedule of meetings, see Child Interest Group Schedule.
- CIDS Brownbag: Members of the Cognitive/Instructional, Developmental, and School Area meet every other week in this informal forum for discussing research and exchanging ideas. Meetings feature presentations by students and faculty, with topics ranging from presentations of completed research to discussions of proposals for studies or discussions of professional issues.
