Evaluation
Each year all students in the clinical curricular area are evaluated by the clinical faculty on their academic, research, and clinical progress. The results of this evaluation are communicated, in writing, to the student, including any recommendations for remediation and improvement. In addition, each student in practicum or on externship placement receives a written clinical skill evaluation from the faculty or community supervisor. This evaluation is discussed with the student and becomes a part of the student's record.
