PSYC 540 Theory and Assessment of Intellectual Functioning
Historical review of theory and research concerning the definition and measurement of intelligence. Topics include intellectual development, factor analytic and computer models of intelligence, and the construction and use of intelligence tests. Supervised practice in administering, scoring, and reporting intelligence test results and evaluating their implications for intellectual functioning and for such clinical problems as retardation, brain damage, and thought disorders. PRQ: Graduate standing in psychology or consent of department. 3 credit hours
