Emotion Regulation & Temperament Laboratory

The Emotion Regulation & Temperament Laboratory is located in the Department of Psychology in the Psychology-Computer Science Building at NIU. Within the overall goal of producing a high quality, visible program of research, the laboratory is also dedicated to providing high quality education and hands on research training to undergraduate students and to providing graduate students with ample opportunities for professional development and preparation for entry into the profession of psychology.

Research

Research within the Lab primarily focuses on developmental trajectories of emotion, emotion regulation, and temperament in children between the ages of 4 months to 5 years.
