Retreat

CISLL was able to offer two types of grants this Spring Semester for our faculty and graduate student affiliates.

The Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Language and Literacy (CISLL) announces the call for a CISLL Outstanding Student Scholar Award (COSSA). The Center is dedicated to creating a new generation of scholars who have a broad perspective on the study of language and literacy.  Each year the COSSA is awarded to a student affiliate who best exemplifies CISLL’s mission over the course of their graduate career and shows great promise as a future scholar in the fields represented by CISLL.  It is meant to honor the past and future achievements of the COSSA recipient.  This award will support the research endeavors of the recipient for one academic year.

The Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Language and Literacy (CISLL) is pleased to announce the call for applications for the CISLL Student Research Fellowship (SRF). The Center is dedicated to creating a new generation of scholars who have a broad perspective on the study of language and literacy. The SRF is intended to meet this mission by providing the recipient with the opportunity to pursue a specific research project, in collaboration with a faculty mentor.  Research endeavors may include dissertation, thesis, or other student-initiated research projects.
