About Dr. Azad

Dr. Azad joined Northern Illinois University during July 2001. He has attracted around $1.7M for research and development projects and has published around 100 technical papers, edited books and book chapter.

He is in leadership role with professional bodies as well as managing editorial responsibilities. Dr. Azad is a reviewer for national and international funding agencies, and was a program evaluator for the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
