Call for Papers

In addition to sessions of research papers, a session is being planned to honor the memory of Dr. Dan Shea, Beloit College. The meeting will be held in the newly remodeled Cole Hall on the NIU campus that provides a large lecture hall and a generous space for poster presentations. Cole Hall is also home to the NIU Anthropology Museum, opened in its new location in February 2012. The museum will have extended hours to allow conference visitors a chance to visit the ongoing exhibits including Rarely Seen Southeast Asia, and Andean Traditions. A block of rooms at the NIU campus hotel has been reserved for the conference.

To submit an abstract for either a paper or poster presentation, please see the conference website or email the following information to Justin Dodd, Geology and Environmental Geosciences at jdodd@niu.edu. The deadline for abstracts has been extended to February 1st, 2013.
