Founders Library Digital Media Studio
Founders Library Digital Media Studio is available for use by NIU students, faculty, academic employees and staff for developing a variety of digital instructional media for teaching and presenting.
One Button Video Studio
The One Button Video Studio is a simple way to record videos of yourself giving presentations. The background is a green screen that you can use to display your slideshow behind you. The studio requires no prior experience with lighting, sound, or video production.
Lightboard Studio
The Lightboard Studio allows you to record yourself writing or drawing on a pane of glass while facing the camera. You can share recorded videos in courses or online via Teams, Collaborate or Zoom. The studio is designed for unattended self-service recording.
Scheduling the Studios
After reviewing support information for the One Button Video Studio and Lightboard Studio, you may request a one hour appointment for any of the studios during Founders Library's business hours. Appointments must be requested at least 2 business days in advance. You will receive a confirmation email after submitting your appointment.
