The Music Library supports the programs of the School of Music, and is a music resource for the entire university community. The Music Library's collection contains books about music (including music history and biography), reference books (such as music dictionaries and encyclopedias), music scores (sheet music), music instruction and study materials, periodicals and indexes, microforms, and sound recordings in various formats (LP recordings, audiocassettes, and compact discs). Listening equipment is available for in-library use. Reference, circulation, and reserve services are available. Access to Illinet Online and the Internet is provided. Library staff members are available to assist users during regular service hours.
