Testing and Reporting
- NIU has updated its guidance for self-reporting a positive COVID-19 test.
- NIU will not be conducting surveillance testing this semester. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 can schedule a PCR nasal test through NIU Health Services. Health Services may contact your insurance company about the test.
Communications
- Check your emails for NIU communications and information for housing students.
- Monitor cases at NIU via our COVID-19 dashboard.
Assistance
- The 2021 Rental Payment Program assists with past due rent from the last year due to COVID-19
- Request financial help through the Student Emergency Fund. You may also provide financial assistance by donating.
- Huskie Food Pantry.
- Students in need of renting a laptop for school purposes can contact the Founders Memorial Library at niulibbook@niu.edu and make a request.
