Hi Huskies!
Are you ready for finals in two and a half weeks? A break in May isn’t far away either!
Below are some ideas to help you push through the semester and plan for what’s next.
Finishing Spring
Carve out time to prioritize your classes these last couple weeks of the term:
Summer Break
Mid-May will bring time to take a breath, even if you’re taking classes. The summer semester starts a month from final exams in the spring.
If you’re not pursuing your studies for the summer, maybe you’re looking for a job or internship? Check out Huskies Get Hired to apply for jobs on or off campus.
Fall Semester
Continuing your studies in the next academic year? Get a jumpstart on your post-graduation future with a new course in MyNIU — UNIV 301: Braven Leadership and Career Accelerator.
Taught by leadership coaches from a variety of industries, this online elective class will offer you hands-on learning from leading companies and long-lasting support from mentors in your field.
Have you thought about all of the courses you’re taking in the coming semesters? If you haven’t already, meet with your advisor and register for classes!
Maybe you’re graduating this spring? you should be proud of your persistence to a degree! Remember that the last day to RSVP online and reserve tickets for Commencement on Saturday, May 14 is this Sunday, April 24.
You’ll hear from me at least once more before the end of finals week. Stay on top of your to-do list by downloading NIU’s helpful Navigate app, and your hard work will be worth it in the end.
Go Huskies!
