Are you attending NIU on any scholarships?
NIU Transfer Scholarship.

What is your major, and why did you choose your field of study?
My major is Accountancy. I chose Accountancy because accountants get to work in any industry, or work at many and have an intimate view of their business. Accountants never get bored.

How did you learn about NIU, and why did you choose to attend?
I decided to attend NIU after my teachers from Kishwaukee College suggested it. They always praise the College of Business and the Accountancy program at NIU.

Do you have any favorite activities or events at NIU?
I like the passport activities and enjoy the many presentations companies do at the College of Business. I also like the events hosted by ALPFA, of which I am a member.

What do you like about campus and the DeKalb area?
I like that everything is close and that inside campus there is a desire to help from the many student services, organizations and faculty that I am so grateful for.

What has your experience inside the classroom been like at NIU?
I like the size of the classroom, the design and functionality. Everything you possibly need to succeed is within reach. But more importantly, I like the enthusiasm, dedication and quality of education our professors provide.

What is up next for you after your time at NIU? Any plans you would like to share?
I plan to become a CPA and work at a public company.

Would you recommend NIU to others and why?
I have a great experience at NIU and I don't think I am an exception. I think NIU knows that successful students are their priority. It is also the perfect place to foster learning — in a small, caring community.
