Why did you choose NIU?
I chose NIU because it's close to home and I loved the accountancy department, it was the best bang for my buck. My number one goal was to get out of college without any student loans and NIU gives me that chance.

What do you like most about NIU?
I love all the opportunities that I’ve had so far. I’m on executive boards for two student organizations and I've worked with orientation, which was probably the greatest summer I’ve ever had.

What most surprised you about NIU?
Probably how big the campus is. Being from DeKalb, I thought I knew NIU’s campus. But actually being here and realizing all the parts of campus I never even knew about was surprising. I feel like I was still able to experience college life and learn new things about NIU that I didn’t know growing up.

Why should other students choose NIU?
The amount of resources, and the number of people that want to help you are the just a few of the reasons why more students should come to NIU. Plus, it's really fun!

What advice would you offer future Huskies?
College goes by so fast and I would want to tell them to enjoy the process. Don’t be so quick to graduate and go to work, because you have all your life to work.
