Anderson Hall Pool
The swimming pool in Anderson Hall offers lap and open swim times year-round. The pool has five 25-yard swim lanes and a deep well section; however, diving is not allowed.
To use the pool, you must be a Recreation or pool-only member. Current fee-paying students are automatically members.
Reservations
You can reserve a swim time on MyRec. If you're a current student, faculty or staff member, simply log in with your NIU credentials. Time slots are made available eight days in advance.
If you can't make your reserved time, be sure to cancel your reservation to open the time to others.
Guidelines
- You must show your OneCard or RecCard when you arrive. A lifeguard will confirm your registration.
- You may come and go anytime within the two-hour session.
- You may use available pool equipment, including pull buoys and kickboards. Return used equipment to a lifeguard.

Five lap swimming lanes and a deep well with a variety of water equipment available for use. Open to all those with Recreation Pool Only or All Inclusive memberships.
