Hello Huskie Families,

It is hard to believe we are already almost halfway through the summer break. We hope that you and your student can take time to relax and enjoy the summer weather after what has been a chaotic year. While we are also encouraging our NIU staff to take breaks, we want you to know that we are still hard at work making adjustments and arrangements for this upcoming year.

Your student received two communications over the past week with more information about Fall 2020. The first communication came from the Provost outlining plans for fall courses. The second communication came from our Housing and Dining teams with information about rates and plans related to the residence halls and dining for the coming year.

Encourage your student to monitor email throughout the summer as we will continue to communicate to ensure our students know exactly what to expect at NIU for the 2020-2021 academic year. We will persist in working hard to make sure that our students still receive a quality Huskie experience because Huskies. Never. Quit!
