Prevention Education and Outreach provides multiple awareness events and prevention programs every year. Student involvement is critical to the success of these events. Students bring a perspective that exists due to their interactions with one another. These interactions could be in student groups, classes, labs, cafeterias, housing and other student communities. PEO offers many ways for students to engage in bringing awareness and education to their various circles, groups and associations.
PEO also collaborates with others to ensure students who are required to have volunteer hours are able to obtain those hours through our events. Most events are eligible for points in Business Passport, Honors Connect, and other student volunteer required organizations.
