Required Training for Students

New students and new transfers are required to take sexual misconduct awareness and prevention training.  You’ll learn about common concerns regarding sexual misconduct, how to make a report and how to access resources. 

You will continue to take sexual misconduct training each year you’re a student at NIU. This allows us to keep you up to date with the latest information.

How to Access Training

You'll receive an email about the training, which will be available on certain dates. To access the training:

1. Visit Blackboard Learn and log in using your Z-ID and password.
2. Click on the Organization tab.
3. Select Sexual Misconduct Awareness and Prevention Training under Organizations.
4. Complete the training and take the final test. You must score at least 80%.
