Overview of Scholarly Activity

My current research interests are public policy and justice studies, human rights, U.S. foreign policy and international organizations. The areas of concentration focus on Eastern and Western Europe, Russia, Latin America and U.S. Overseas Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam and U.S. Virgin Islands).  My Master’s thesis entitled “Comparative Analysis of Immigration Policies in the United States and the European Union” analyzes the migration system regarding the family and employment-based immigration in the United States and the European Union countries. My current and future research will expand this to develop public policy perspectives on immigration and improvement of immigrant integration policies.
