The School of Music partners with NIU’s Community School of the Arts to provide directors of area high school groups the opportunity to showcase their ensembles and share ideas with other musicians, directors and NIU faculty.

Each school has the chance to perform on NIU's concert hall stage and be critiqued by NIU faculty — and for certain events — a guest clinician.
