We are in the process of converting websites that are using the university's beige or gray templates to responsive black and white templates. The design of the page is flexible so that the screen resolution, image sizes and page layout structure change based on the size of the screen. This is called Responsive Web Design (RWD).
Will my website look different?
Yes, your site will look different in the black and white templates. The main navigation is at the top, not on the left. Images will be sized differently. When you access your site from a mobile phone or tablet device, you will see a site that is optimized for the mobile experience - one column of content, images that resize to fit the display and navigation buttons that are touch-friendly.
What do I need to do?
You need to make sure your content is ready to "go mobile." For most sites, we perform a content assessment and audit as part of the conversion process. We work with you to clean up your site, removing outdated and duplicate content while improving your navigation to be mobile-friendly.
