FREE tours for student groups! Quilts exhibit extended at the Pick Museum Pick Museum of Anthropology's exhibition, “Quilts and Human Rights,” has been extended through Friday, May 11. The museum is offering free customizable exhibit tours and hands-on learning activities to support student groups.

  • Guided Tours can be tailored to cover a wide range of topics including but not limited to activism, social justice, fiber arts, institutional racism, sexism, LGBTQ+ rights, Native American sovereignty, labor, anti-violence and more.
  • Special events can be hosted at the museum and customized to fit any student group’s needs.

Undergraduate Research and Artistry Day registration

The Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning (OSEEL) will be hosting the ninth annual Undergraduate Research and Artistry Day (URAD) and Community Engagement Showcase (CES) on Wednesday, April 18. This is an event where students showcase the work they have conducted, either through research or community engagement, to other students and faculty.

Undergraduate students are eligible to register for the event, if they have participated in a mentored research, creative inquiry and artistry as well as community engagement projects.

OSEEL will also be hosting Poster Workshops on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 27, in Campus Life Building, room 100
  • Wednesday, March 7, in Altgeld Hall, room 125
  • Tuesday, March 20, in Altgeld Hall, room 125

All students and faculty are welcome to attend this event. Students interested in attending the event can also receive an Honors Engaged credit for the University Honors Program, and a Business Passport credit for College of Business students.
